Aww man, I need to talk my fiance into getting one. I've always loved that kind of dog. Especially the mini ones. SOOO cute!

Good tips, both of 'em coffeelady. Thank you! You know, when it comes to dogs, I pretty much figure any kind will kill chickens so I never let them have the chance. I only have a chihuahua and she's been good with the big hens (her on one side of the wire, them on the other) but that's the closest I'd let dog and chicken get to one another. Not worth taking chances!

I'd sure love to turn a little doxie loose on the rodent population outside though! Sheesh! I've got clever ones. They can't be caught with any trap I've found and seemed to enjoy the dried mashed potatoes that I was told would kill them by expanding once eaten. I think all they needed was some gravy.
