when I was in chickens be for I had a lot of them. We even would have a meet up at the pet smart in Statesville NcReally had a lot of fun selling buying or just tradeing. I had some of the following. Welsummers,Americuanas. Silver and God Wyndottes,Barnevelders, Dorking,Faverolles, Black and Blue Copper marans NH Reds. RL Reds Black and Buff Orpingtons, Silkes Polish top hats Sussexs. I had alot but I enjoyed them, They were kept in each group by themselves. Then I got a couple of blue batam Cochins. I had one that i let run loose with me while I took care of the feeding and watering all the others. She would follow me up to the house and all around. I really did love that little hen. After a year or so, she got on top of my fence and into my Back yard. Well Dixie my out side dog got a hold of her and that was the end of of Blue Girl.It tore me up so bad that I just didn't want the chickens any more. The more I looked at the chickens the more I thought of my little Blue Girl. I ended up just ding away with all the rest of them. I had a friend that wanted got them so he got them all. I was looking at some chickens the other day and got the bug back to get me some more but on a smaller scale.When I was on this site befor I was known as Vet. It was years ago.I would like to get a couple of Blue batam Cochins and some Blue lace Red wyadotte and maybe a couple of Lavender Orpingtons. So if any one has some of these please lt me know ok.
