My little broody hen is getting thinner and I have a ?

She laid an egg yesterday so I think the broody part is done, but she is so thin. She is the smaller of the 2 and last night the big one just jumped her and I intervened pretty intensely! So now I'm wondering if she is stalling her reappearance into the world because the other one is so mean. The bigger one has always been the top chicken, that's the one of the reasons I broke up the fight. I saw it coming and picked up a thin willow branch and whacked her pretty good, in fact when she started again I moved towards her and she ran off in the other direction. But I can't live in the coop with them!

I need some advice. I am taking small amounts of food and water into the henhouse but I'm not sure that's a great idea but I will do what I have to do so she will eat and drink.

Iuld put the mean hen in a seperate cage by herself in the coop, so te other hens can see her, but she can't get in contact with them, that way she might settle down a bit and after few days, she might be no longer the head one in the coop.
