My little chicken coop

Do you know why chicken coops only have 2 doors? Because if they had 4 they would be chicken SEDANS!!!!!!

Ok I know my little chicken coop is not a work of art by comparison to allot of the ones you all have done, but considering I did most of the work MYSELF and managed to keep ALL of my fingers I think I did pretty good. Besides I only have 3 chickens and need lots of good shade for the Texas heat.

Chickens don't care if they sleep in a Hilton or a Holiday Inn. As long as you provde the basics (nesting boxes & perches) they are happy. From what I can in your pic you've done just that. Hat's off to you for tackling such a big job.

I never would of know where to begin after the lumber was bought. So be proud, you did all by yourself and your chickens will thank you!!

Seriously though, watch out that your birds don't try to roost on the top of the coop at night, it would be too easy for a coon the reach thru!
