My little guy needs a brake check!

I heard my little cockeral's feeble attempts to crow today. It is the funniest sound... sounds like squealing brakes. And to watch him!!! He looks like he's putting his heart and soul into the little squelch and then is just tuckered out (but very proud) after the effort.

How long will it take to sound like a 'real' crow? He is 6 weeks old.

My guy didn't make his first noise until about 15 weeks, and within a day he was quite adept. I think your guy is well on his way!

I heard someone here once say it sounded like a broken bicycle horn!

I kinda smile and giggle everytime I hear one of my young boys' voice "crack"! Sooo danged funny!

i actually have some video of my roo's first crows, i should figure out how to put it on here, it's actually quite funny. It took him about 4-5 weeks to get all the notes in there. & it was great seeing him crow!! haha
