Barbie, my little barred cochin, loves to sit on my shoulder lol I do make sure she is safe.

Very sweet. I know not everyone is a fan of their birds taking such liberties, but I have always loved a nice shoulder chicken.
One word of caution, especially if she continues this into adulthood (they sometimes give it up as they mature), be wary of your eyes and teeth/lips --- chickens are drawn to peck at shiny things (eyes and teeth), and even one strike from a well directed beak can do some serious damage....and be cautious about earrings as, again, they will gladly peck at and, sometimes, remove and eat them.
