my little roo needs a new home

hi i have a 6 week old rooster i got 10 sexed (all hens)
chicks and last we started noticing that my little EE roo had iridescent tail feathers then one day he crowed i want a good home for him he is pretty tame and he is my sisters and she loves him very very very very much and would appreciate if you didn't eat him. i live Mcallen Texas

Post at the feed store, check at the poultry clubs, but if you get a taker, don't ask questions.

Aww, I wish I could take him. But I live in Colorado. Check with your feed store, see if they have poultry swaps anywhere near you.

I have to agree, its very hard to find a home for a rooster. I list mine on Craigslist with a price tag of $20 which I feel deters the ones that want to eat them. Mine are bantams or bantam mix though. So far they have gone to good homes and I've gotten some pics of them with their new flocks.
