My little partridge silke seemed to be not thriving and the other one was getting bigger and bigger unlike her. I took her to the vet because I thought she was so bad, the vet said give her 24 hours to see if she survived. It is now monday ever since thursday she has been kept in the cat run (with a nice warm box to sleep in) I have been feeding her a mixture of ground up growers mash, yoghurt and dipping it in smoothie for flavour. She is eating as much as I put on her partridge feathers seem to be getting brighter and she is starting to protest about being picked up (a quick few pecks until the nice food is in front of her) it looks like she is coming back from the brink, especially as I found her chasing a cat in the sitting room last night. As a side note I put the new cat in the cat pen (on wednesday) and he was all set to chase a chicken through the fence when she looked at him, at that point he slinked back to the safety of the room he lives in away from these nasty big birds.
