My living will

MY LIVING WILL

Last night, my kids and I were sitting in the living room and I said to them,
'I never want to live in a vegetative state, dependent on some machine and
fluids from a bottle. If that ever happens, just pull the plug.'






They got up, unplugged the computer and threw out my wine.

When my mother was struggling trying to care for her mother she told my brother and me not to ever try to take care of her when she got old, just put her in a nursing home. So my brother got up, picked up the phone book, and told her to find one and he'd call it right now. She didn't laugh.
