my lonely little pheasant

quail eggs came in from iowa , plain northern bobwhite , 60 eggs 50 $ delivered good plus up on the egg count . i had quite the time getting the quail racks installed , it was good for me , make me think and do, eggs now set, 23 days to hatch 18-20 days to lockdown , i think i will try to brood in the bathtub instead of the general bathroom , keep them little things inside the shower stall instead of loose in the bathroom , the pheasant loved to get up in the window and look out, excrete on the wall . quite problematic running 100 F and 50% humidity incubator expect hatch i hope early nov , brood 30 days that will be December, might be cold out here northern tn , might too cold to put them in the pens , i will have to ask them , any help on speaking BoB White ? i hope to laminate cardboard on the top and sides northern exposure of the pens , some protection , and some boxes, otherwise just let the tiny fowl loose in the house to give the cats some excitement . tiny bird like that could not excrete all that much ,, record that behavior and post ,hahaha ,, speaking of recording i need to figure out my device and record that golden cavorting , she looks me in the eye and whistles ,,

hey guys ,, i got got a hatch happening ,,
you remember me the guy got his bird living in a wet card board box ,, anyway i liked my egg shipment , late season 60 count 50$ delivered Iowa certified bobwhite ,66 each in the incubator , day 23 , hatching 4 am , now i have 4 each out and a number pippin ,, i will report the full count later . my brooding plan is the bathtub, flippin brooder bulb burned out with just one cycle , no problem , amazon will have me a nice 300 watt infra red in Monday 10 k hr bulb life 30$ , these quail so tiny they can brood in the incubator several days , i put a quail water in , dipped beak . observed chick dipping beak ,little bit of crumbles and powder feed , imaged couple nice little pics , chick and eggs pippin in the incubator , however , unable to up load , i just been working with computers since 1969 . i am confused why i am having such difficulty on the upload , more later

not a lot of response from this network but i report ,, the golden made it through the winter good , i read about these birds , plenty food and water do good in the cold , it was a cold cold winter here , turns out this is a rooster putting out cape feathers , pretty boy . kept the bobwhite in the bathtub all winter, can you imagine , put them out m got another 100 bobwhite eggs in the incubator , Poor BoB white ,, all i want is to hear the bobwhite call from the woods once more , bobwhite is the Tennessee state game bird . these bobwhite , i read that some think they are messengers between this world and the other , some say bobwhite are just hatched to go die , i put 9 out 4 went between the wires , one little thing ripped its wing off getting out , my language bird died to go free , the others went free to die , ,perhaps some one help me with a link for some Golden and lady Amherst eggs , change my racks and run a batch them next ,,thank you

poor bob white ,, i do like to view those as individuals but more as a species , imagine rip your wing off to be free to die , i will keep that wing , take in to the sweat lodge ,, make magic , got 100 eggs in the incubator , bob white , now at day 3 of 23 ,, some years ago the call of the bobwhite was heard , all around , now never ever , since 1960 until now the population of bobwhite has gone down by 90%, i get these bobwhite hatched change the racks and run golden and lady Amherst , pretty high price on ebay those eggs ,,
