My Lucky Ducky prize eggs are hatching!!

The chickens were due today and started hatching Wed.! I have 8 babies so far, one pipped, zipped halfway but died in the shell, it got all turned around in there somehow. I have one that is hatched but has a very suspicious red blob at it's rear, so we'll wait and see what happens there. There are 3 eggs left in the hatcher. The Guineas and Ducks are due on the 31st. I will have pictures later over the weekend.

Based upon your location, I suppose we ccould call these "Lucky Ducky Chicks" the "Almost Tex-Mex Chicks" !!!

Ha-Ha !

It's hotter than a Jalapeno here today. I'll bet it's more like a Habanero where you are! (You're bound to be melting!)

I'm doing "Plans and Planning" inside today where it's cool. MIGHT go outside...IF it gets overcast and a breeze comes up...

It only got up to 97 today, we had a cold front,,, we did just have one heck of a rainstorm though with more on the way!
