she was only laying really small egss, not sure what caused this
so heartbroken today my lulu americauna was only 5 months old, she started laying a few weeks ago, and this morning we noticed blood coming from her behind, and she wasnt walking right, took her to an avian vet and she did surgery to fix her prolapse, showed my boyfriend how to give her antibiotics and he went to bring her home, she died in the car with 5 mins of picking her up....i am soooo upset.....i really thought she would be ok...it seems like she was just to weak to make it thru...has anyone else had a hen with a prolapse?
