My mandarin drake is making werid noises

Yester day i just got a hen mandarin and ever since i got her my drake mandarin has been making werid noises
Does anyone know why he would be doing this?

He is most likely showing off. Our mandarins grunt and do all kinds of other stuff when the hens are around.

Mine grunt, whistle, burp, quack-honk kind of noise, and chatter. So you will hear all kinds of crazy noises!
