First time processing. The dispatch didn't go as smoothly as when I culled and aggressive cockerel. The skinning was no where as easy as the video made it look. I did not expect the gonads to be as large as they were. Is the green in pic two normal? From eating greens? All in all, I think I did a good job. While I took to joy in the process, I will take joy in the meal.

Looks good and will taste great.
I don't see the gallbladder, green is probably bile when it got ruptured pulling it out.
Any meat that has bile on it needs to be rinsed well or it will be bitter.
CX are easy to skin, usually what's in video. Older the bird harder to get the skin off, especially the back and wings.

Ya did it. :clap In my experience daylength affects testicle size, and testicle size impacts hormonal levels/aggression. Green may be bile. Enjoy him in the oven.
At nearly 8 months, I think crock pot. He was good around people, but was getting quite assertive with the pullets/hens. His half brother will be next (soon) but at least now they can't split up... the flock master only has to watch one.
