We got 10 marans chicks yesterday. My son named his Nugget.

Hmm, I'd call him Ajax. With that white coloring and the blue specks....reminds me of Ajax cleanser.......plus I had a favorite horse with similar coloring named Ajax!

For him, I like the name Blue. It describes his color, but he just looks like a Blue to me. My Silver Cuckoo Maran roo's name is Mystery because when I got him, we didn't quite know what he was, other than the most beautiful chick I had ever laid eyes on. He had pink legs and blue eyes, and everyone that saw him just fell in love with him. He has since grown up to have yellow eyes, and his legs darkened, but he is so handsome, and the name suites him too, and he knows his name. We have conversations all the time, and he gets very vocal when I say his name, lol. Guess he thinks the treats are coming! Good luck in whatever you name him though. He's beautiful!

He has a sweet personality. LOVES to be held and cuddled, he goes to sleep in my arms when I carry him around.
