My Metzer girls?

These are my Metzer girls.......from the left, Spaz, Maygan and Mable. Do you think Maygan is a boy???

If Maybel Quacks she's a girl if its a a raspy quiet quack boy.

The two that are lighter in color quack their heads off. Maygan (middle darker one) seems to be pretty quiet. I haven't been able to pick out any voice from her/him as yet.

I thought the darker head and yellower bill was an indication of a male......... Anyone else?

Now I wonder; if you paid for sexed birds and one ends up being NOT what you paid for, what does Metzer do about it?

I'm sure they would try to make it right, but I can't see shipping one baby that would be way behind in age, to make it up.

Anyway, boy ducks keep the girls smiling!

Ya, I don't think that is a good idea either (sending a baby when the rest are so grown up)

But still, what if you are at your limit for males and they mix up the sexing?
That is exactly where I am, I ordered more ducklings and will be in a mess if I have more males then I need.
That would be bad....

Whoever you are ordering from, make it clear that you cannot have any more males. They may just refund monetarily instead of replacement.

In my case, I had no ducks (my mallards were all killed one night by a mink last October) Good luck!
