My Mille laid her first egg! **Egg Pic Added**

I got her in November as a "started pullet." Today she laid a very small perfect egg. I didn't realize how dark her eggs would be! It's a dark red brown. Is that the normal color for a mille egg? I'll add a picture later today. I went to take a pic and wouldn't you know my camera battery died

I'm just so happy to see her cute little egg. My mille "S'Mores" is a tiny little girl, about as tall as the average pigeon but twice as wide, lol.

I have mille fleur D'Uccles and they lay a small cream colored egg, Very light

Ya got me as to why she's laying a dark red brown colored egg - at least she's laying. She sure is a pretty girl though.

Thanks! I only got her because I thought she was such a pretty girl. I was really looking for a few bigger bantams to help me hatch some eggs, lol. She is so cute and sweet though, I'm glad I picked her!
