If I let my hens free range all day there are a few that sneak off and hide their eggs. That's why I don't usually let them out until later in the day.

Thank you everyone for your compliments on S'Mores. She is my DHs favorite chicken too. Definitely the cutest of the bunch!

And yeah, I wasn't kidding when I said she laid a dark egg. Wonder why though, if Mille's usually lay light eggs?
