My mom doesn't like my eyeliner...

Your mother, her rules. Sorry.

You're growing up and you need to sit down with her
and talk this through calmly. In time, your mum will see
that you're growing older and may change her mind.

fwiw, I found children growing up is one of the hardest
things for a parent to bear. Help your mum cut the apron
strings a little! You can still be her little girl while you are
getting to be a young lady yourself. I'm 44 and I still feel
like a little boy around my Dad, who's 77! So much so, I
still cover up my 'illegal' tattoo's when I go and see him!
I know a woman in her 40's who 'has' to wear a skirt
when she sees her old man as he hates women in
trousers.... and you thought chickens were odd little
creatures! lol!

Good luck and enjoy your youth and don't sweat the small
stuff.

I think it looks pretty. But ya gotta listen to mom as long as you live under her roof.

You're a very pretty young lady.

And I'm a father.

Don't want boys chasing after my daughter. Boys are bad!!!
So I have to agree...you need to go wash your face. Or do a much
worse job of looking pretty.

Spook

Well, it IS the halloween season. I have a nice selection of
masks she can borrow...

In the long-running Elders thread, we have the young ladies
wearing buckets on their heads. (They come in attractive colors.)

But speaking as the parent of a young girl, I've decided to keep her
in the house until she's 23.
