But it's lost it's elastic...so what use did I have for it other than to cover my tomato plants if there is a frost?

I used a lace table cloth once. I thought it looked pretty nice. Others had different opinions.

My Mom made curtains for us kids rooms with sheets. She would top or bottom them off with some kind of decorative fabric.

I've done it too. Lived in a 30yr old single wide trailer that barely keep the windows in the frame. Didn't have the money nor did it make sense to spend money on curtains. Dollar store dish & bath towels make great trailer window curtains!!

Even my Daddy like them, lol
