It's been awhile since I first posted this one as a chick. Was told to wait till it was 8-10 weeks old to tell gender. Well, the time has come.

Any help would be great.

It's hard to tell with these crested birds. If you wait 2 weeks more, male specific feathering comes in, and its a lot easier.
Is does resemble a pullet more though in my opinion.

You might consider trimming the sides of the crest so it can see better. I've done this with my birds, and I think it really helps their vision.

I'll let my wife know. She's, sort of, adopted this 1. It was a free rare from McMurray hatchery. Very fortunate, if it's a hen.

So far, looking like a pullet. Oh my....that hair is too cute for words.
