My MPC babies arrived this morning!!!

I wonder if I screwed up. I put no substitution. I hope I still get them. I wonder if they can give me an idea of what they might substitute and if I could change that if it were a problem?

Mine shipped yesterday from MPC as well, but I haven't received them. Maybe tonight on the Express truck or tomorrow morning.

I definitely wasn't planning to add more chickens, until I saw they had a few Rare Copper Marans available. I did have a substitution and was called yesterday morning.

Congrats on your new chickens-love their little chubby cheeks! (I have two 23 week old EEs from MPC and they are absolutely beautiful)

I'm sure yours will be there in the morning!!

If I'd had these guys sent to my local PO, they wouldn't have arrived until tomorrow either - I used the USPS calculator thing to find a nearby PO where they'd arrive in 24 hours - it's a little further away, but I like the time saved in chick travel. You might check into that next time you order (cause you KNOW there'll be a next time...lol).

If they make a substitution, they will contact you. If they didn't contact you, your chicks shipped!

Yes, I have a distributing center in my town. This is my 4th time ordering from MPC. The first two times, chicks arrived late Tuesday afternoon on the express truck from Salt Lake and last time, Wednesday morning. I went in to the distributing center and left my number telling them to call me at ANY time (after being informed that trucks arrive throughout the night). I received a phone call at 8:30 am from my mail carrier, who was standing at my mail box.

Have any of you that have ordered from mpc selected no substitute? Has it delayed your order? Those of you that just got orders substituted recently - what breed did they not have and what did they substitute for it?
