My name is Barb, I've had chickens for a couple of years

My problem is I have a pullet whose shells don't form, the other four chickens all have very strong shells, and she has an egg nearly every day, but rarely are they formed, and when they are, they are quite weak. They all eat the same food, there is no evidence of illness with any of them. Suggestions?

Welcome to BYC. Oyster shell may help. How long have they been laying ? Some birds tend to lay soft shelled eggs at the beginning or end of a laying cycle. Some lay them consistently regardless of supplementation.

I agree with Sour. You can also try offering crushed eggshell. I rinse and bake mine first. My flock prefer these to OS but do eat the OS as well.
