I'm sorry for your loss.

It's a peaceful way to go. Pearl lived a happy, sweet and wonderful life. She was loved.
I can understand what you feel, reading that post about Pearl almost tore me up. I lost my lovely girl last year, she looked like Pearl.
Just cry if you need to, you will feel better.

Oh Luna! I'm so sorry! Sorry for your loss, and sorry that I didn't see this sooner. I went to bed early last night and didn't see this untill this morning.

I'm sooo sorry for your loss. I feel like I lost her too.

You've told Pearl's story so wonderfully over the last few weeks, and I have always looked forward to each new installment.

I'm so sorry she's gone. She was a treasure to be sure. I hope that you can take solace in knowing that you gave her a wonderful life and that she knew you loved her. I'm sure she loved you too.

Those who have never had chickens will never understand that they can be just as special as any dog or cat. But, most of us here at BYC do understand.
