I just keep getting more and more!! Haha started with chickens two years ago and this year the chicken bug has really set in. I have 11 bug hens from last year. Barred rocks, gold laced Wyandotte, white leg horns and one jersey giant. This year my little ones consists of black austrolorps, light and buff Brahmas. Easter eggers and I'm raising some assorted chicks for my GMA as she's fixing her chicken coop. I also am heading to a hatchery Wed to get a silver lace Wyandotte rooster and some hens and some "random rare breed" one rooster and some hens.....my friends just don't understand lol I was originally in it for the eggs but now I think how fun it will be to hatch some babies!
I have one really broody barred rock hen that is not leaving her nest so I snagged a fertilized egg from a friend and shoved it under her(barred rock hen and buff orpington rooster)
