Hi my name is Christy. My fiance James and I have been raising turkeys since May of this year. We currently have 7 Narragansett turkeys and 1 Sweetgrass hen that our neighbor gave us.
Our lovely Sweetgrass lady named Penny Pancakes. She had really bad wounds on her heals when we got her it took a while for us to get them to heal up but she is doing great.
Our youngest Turkey, she had quite the fight in life as a poult and is doing great. Her name is Chromie.
This little one is named Aysa, she is about a day older than Chromie.
This is Arthas one of our hopefully only two Jakes. When he was just a little thing he would strut and try to boss others around until his brother dominated him.
Our second male named Poopy aka Yulon, he is our dominant bird and everyone listens to him even the stubborn brother Arthas.
I'm hoping this big one is a female, his/her name is Sylvannas. It will strut but struggles to gobble like the boys above. Syl took in Chromie when she was sick and nurtured her even as a poult his/her self.
This little one is Screamer, when this turkey was a poult all it would do is scream at us.
Last but not least is LiLi, another bird we were thinking was a hen for so long but are leaning more towards Jake now.
