My neighbor needs advice on game hen/rooster!

She has a rooster and one hen. They have always been caged. She wants to let them loose, she has a couple of acres. She is concerned they may not survive if she lets them go.

I know she still plans on feeding them, since they have not been out free will their natural instincts just "kick in".

I have a few game hens but they have always been wild, roosting in trees etc.

Since they have been caged up to now, she can let them out and they will come back "home" to their cage at night and she can close it up and they will be safe from predators. Since they are tamed, keep food and water available and they should always come home. Good luck!
