My Neighbors Kid.... Grrr.

I know I need to say something to them about this, I just don't really know how to go about it.

I also don't know what my DD sees in this girl. She will fight me tooth and nail and cry and throw a fit if I tell her she cannot go over her house (which I do anyway, crying isn't going to get my DD anyway) but this girl treats my DD like crud from what I see. DH and I have told her that she is so much better than that and does not deserve to be treated like a disposable friend. She seems to "get it" but just still wants to play with her! So frustrating!

I would just approach them as one parent to another and explain how badly the whole situation COULD have turned out. Short but sweet, showing concern for their child. If she continues to trespass, continue to talk to the parents, but only a couple times. If they don;t get it, neither will their child. I always had kids at our house instead of letting my son go to theirs until I knew the kids.

Me too, but I'm just that way.

I worked it that way because I was very strict with my son and so many other parents aren't!!!! It worked out well too because there were many that I sent home to never come back. And only a few I would let him go to their homes.

I have one kid in my neighborhood. She is my daughters age and lives RIGHT across the street. She goes to a different school so she has a dif group of friends and my dd has never even asked about her.
Which is great since what I have seen of the child I dont want the girls to know each other! The tantrums this kid has every morning. OMG.
