My neighbor's rooster

If all goes well, then you and your neighbor will end up having a chuckle over this. The birds were doing what came natural to them and lines that were not clearly demarked (in this case by effective fence) were crossed by each parties birds.

Thanks for taking the time to respond. I really was trying to avoind being the complain-y PIA neighbor. I hope the problem is fixed but who knows. I don't think I would have done anything different. I blocked the hole the rooster and his hen were coming through and his rooster didn't come over anymore. ....Well, you read the rest. As far as I was concerned it was solved and all I had left to do was clip Chickie's wings myself so she didn't go over there.

This one goes under Lesson Learned.

Centrachid, I sure hope so. The lines were definitely blurred and left open. I'd asked him before if he minded her going over there and he said he didn't. I stressed to him that if it ever is to let me know; this was a couple months back. He knew his were coming over as well and knew that I didn't mind.

It was really strange because in the past his son would come knock on the back door to let me know my chicks were on the loose and to bring me an egg Chickie supposedly laid. I don't know what the sudden change was about. I can also say that for a while they wouldn't wave or say hello or anything, also strange.

Anyways, we talked and as far as I know all is well.
