My new babies!!! SO CUTE.

So in love. This will be day 4 with my new chickies. I bought them at agway- the worker there said they were about a week old but they seemed so much younger. As you can see from the images my dad and brother have been extremely busy building the boujeest chicken coop around. They’re all so energetic, eating, drinking and flapping their wings trying to fly. Also no pasty butt! They’re starting to get feathers on wings and shoulder area. They are also itching themselves and moving their beak in their feathers. Under their fuzz i see their feathers under the skin would this be causing their itching? No flees or lice that i can notice but just wanted to ask you guys -a concerned new mom

Probably just preening. Very cute babies! I love listening to those soft contented peeps they make when they are all snuggled together under the brooding plate.
