I got home today and the pad was done. Looks like they have all the supplies here for the leach field they will be making. I'm having a floor drain and a utility sink for washing feed dishes. Only gray water so no need for a septic tank. Since it's just animal byproduct it can go straight into the ground.

wow now i feel inferiour. i am in a street with only two birds . i have bought them a shed thats 6*4 hoping it will be delivered in the nest two weeks but yours is looking good !!!!!

I will be making space in the barn for an LGD. It is time, we've been given lots of signs.

Tuesday night I looked out the dining room window and a beautiful red fox was running down the road past our house, he stopped for just a second and looked into the yard. The birds were all out of his line of sight from that point and being quiet, but I'm sure he knows they are there. Then last night, Tom was greeted by the neighbors big dog, an Akita mix, with it's nose pressed up against his car window before he could come to a complete stop in the driveway. The dog stayed on the outside of the fence, but had to be actively chased away. Initially it only went around the house and started nosing at the fence on that side.

<sigh>

It's time to increase security. The research begins....
