My new BLR Wyandotte

Well here she is My new Girl, Adelaide. She is from ANS Farms and once the weather cools down a little more she will be on her way! I can't wait until she gets here. Any advise on introducing her to the flock? She will be the oldest chicken and we free range all day and then close the coop at night. Just looking for thoughts and if there are any BLRW owners out there what have been your experiences with the breed.

She sure is pretty. My rooster is half blue BLRW. He is gentle but scared of people. His other half is blue cochin. As for intro's remember to quarantine.

Very nice, don't you just love that color pattern !!! I have 6-BLRW. 1-cockerel and 5-pullets (3 darks and 3 lights)

I'd love to see pics of the BLRW x Cochin mix, sounds like it would be very nice combo!!

She's beautiful! I have a roo and two hens. One hen likes to sit on my lap but the other two don't like to be held much. They are fine when you actually catch them...

My roo, Hotwing, is very sweet and doesn't have a fighting bone in his body.
