Isn't she the cutest. She came from vicki2x2.

I was supposed to get a Welsummer, but that one ended up being a boy. And after driving two hours out there I didn't really want to leave empty handed. So I got the only girl she had. I sure hope she's a girl at least. What do you think?

I just had to say good bye to my little chick who ended up being a rooster last week.

Awwww!! She is adorable! I bet she's going to be beautiful when she grows up. So sorry you had to find a new home for your little roo, I know how hard that is. If only they wouldn't crow! I thought it was so sweet that he thought he was a duck.

With the new addition I now have 4 chickens and 2 ducks. I had another Delaware chicken but she passed away a few weeks ago.

Now I have the new chick, a Easter Egger who is very broody right now, a speckled sussex, and a Rhode Island Red who is "retired" and doesn't lay any eggs (Well maybe once in a blue moon). I think the RIR is about 3 years old or older.

And the two ducks that I got, and was planning on having wonderful duck eggs...they ended up BOTH being boys! But they are still darn cute.
