I need to name them, but since I will probably sell them I don't want to give them names I'd want lol. I raised 12of them earlier this year and had half a bag of replacer left and told my husband I didn't want to waste it.....

I know this is probably a silly question, but why sell them when you have only just bought them? Are you just bottle raising them just to bottle raise? Or just to make sure that replacer didn't go to waste?

Either way, they are lovely little girls!

I will raise them till they are weaned. I do enjoy bottle raising the lil buggers. But I pay $7.50 for them as day old and sell them for $80-100 as weaned kids. Not a huge profit after considering replacer costs but it's a fun hobby. And generally I prefer to sell into dairy or pet homes instead of meat homes because I get so attached to the lil buggers.

@littlekatzz what breed are they and where can you but them so cheap?

They are boer dairy cross..these two I suspect are toggenburg boer crosses. But they should still milk out fine. The lady I get them from also gives away the pure dairy males away for free I'm in northern nevada and the dairy I get them from is in the city of fallon

Jelly, I wish I could find them like that here. They sell for $150 average. Some go much higher does occassionally go for $100 but not less typically!

Gosh, in our area it seems very difficult to find any goats for less then $150. Most sell for $200-$400 each!
