Here are my 19 babies. They were born Monday, arrived on Wednesday, so they're five days old today.
I'm going to keep a weekly photo journal of their growth. I tried this once before, but I wasn't consistent with it and eventually lost track of who was who. I thought this might help others who are looking for breeds, ages, etc.
These chicks were ordered from Welp Hatchery. They're all supposed to be pullets. I'm open to any comments anyone has about them.
Gold Laced Wyandotte
Silver Laced Wyandotte
Blue Laced Red Wyandotte (I noticed on feathersite that the BLRW have all sorts of colors in the chicks - these just seems really light to me)
Easter Eggers (sold as Ameraucanas - but we know better) The one on the right is more than likely a Welsummer that belongs to someone else who got my third EE.
Cuckoo Marans (is it normal for them to look so different??? The one on the right does have a small dot on her head)
Partridge Rock
Salmon Favorelle
Welsummer (I was only supposed to have one, but I'm thinking I have two)
I'll take pics every Saturday to chronicle their growth.
For those who are interested, I used a white towel as the backdrop with overhead halogen lights mounted on the ceiling, no flash.
