My new chicks

This is my first time with baby chicks. First time with birds of any kind actually. I just picked up my two new babies Sunday. One Rhode Island Red and one Black Australorp. The black chick keeps picking on the red baby. Will they figure it out or is there something I can do to help them be nice to each other?

They’ll figure it out. Ten to one the Rhode Island Red will be the boss eventually.

It’s feed them chick starter, it has the grit they need in it.

Chicks who are eating nothing but a commercially produced starter feed do not need grit.
