I fermented my chick starter from day one. I fermented each batch for 3 days then fed them. They get a little messy but they loved it.
Thank you for the note - they are very precious. My husband built them a little roost for them to practice on. I will take photos tonight - they are already jumping up and sitting for a bit.When my Wyandottes were chicks, my EE chick picked on them a lot, (she never hurt them bad or anything, just picked) but now the wyandottes are bossing her around lol. They’ll probably figure it out.
