These are my new chicks. I’m not sure how old. I’m guessing between 1 week and 2?

I’m not sure what some of them are. We are supposed to have 2 Rhode Island Reds, 2 White Leghorns, 2 Amberlinks, and 1 Barred Rock, but I’m not sure about the other 3.
The two reds are Thelma and Louise
The two Amberlinks are Angel and Grace
The Barred Rock is JJ
The mystery yellow chicks are Strawberry and Spots
And the mystery black chick - I can’t decide a name for.
and I’m waiting for my husband to pick names for the Leghorns.
Any name suggestions for my black chick?

White with spots might be California White. I went to the local Rural King and they had some little yellow fluffballs labeled that. I brought a few home and felt a wee bit skeptical.

Went back and in the Amberlink tub they had yellow flufffballs and the ones with black dots. They had mixed them up which I confirmed with a more knowledgable employee. Now, I'm okay with it, but white vs. brown eggs and CA Whites are more prodigious layers, but oh well.

I'm just hoping they aren't actually Leghorns, which they also had some of. I want something a bit less flighty and more docile. Mine are probably 2+ weeks and I have no idea.

How do you tell the Leghorns and Amberlinks apart? One of mine is already flapping around and roosting on the side of the bin. Another one is bigger than the rest (they started out the same) but might have a few tiny flecks of rust coming in. I didn't think Amberlinks got any color until later? Two are all fluffy yellow, and three have some bit of buff/heavier yellow. In other words, I have no idea.

I can’t tell the Amberlinks or Leghorns apart 😂😂. I suppose once they’re older I’ll be able to really know what they all are. We got ours at Rural King too. They had no clue. 🤷‍♀️

Glad I'm not the only one! Oh well, they are adorable whatever they are. I was hoping for a quieter breed for the sake of my neighbors and Leghorns are supposedly more talkative. As long as they aren't the Cornish Crosses which are the only other white birds they had :D. But I don't think so, that might be obvious!
