Just want to post a couple pics of our new chickies. They are 3 Golden sex links and 3 Black sex links that I got from the local feed store (they are supplied by Ideal hatchery).
Days old
In the rubbermaid container and a towel for a floor:

1 1/2 weeks old
On there new dirt floor:
I have a 100w bulb as a heat source with a reflector made out of aluminum foil formed over a bowl. Cheap and it works. They are inside with no drafts so the 100w bulb has worked fine.
Although I am going to have to screen the top as they can now get on top the waterer and its not far to get out after that.
