My new chocolate call duck

I know. It looks so disproportional compared to her neat, tiny head!
I think she is adorable.

Oh, Your duck was the one amykins was talking about. I was like I paid a pretty penny for those two ducks I think there bills are fine. But now I see it is your ducks she is talking about. And She is gorgeous and bills arent too hard to breed shorter. Unlike getting colors or other harder body figures.

I agree, bill size shouldn't be as hard to breed out than the other good qualities you've got like short stature and round heads. Bone structure is hard to breed into. Best of luck with your cuties!

Although that brings up a question of my own: What colors could I expect from a choclate/white call pairing? If the one I hatch is a female (fingers crossed!), I'm hoping to get some pied or harlequin color patterns out of it. What do you guys think? Is that a possibility, or would I end up with a muddy-colored mess?

Eend calculator has that is there colors are both pure you will get chocolate bibbed. If there colors are not pure you could get white, chocolate bibbed, chocolate, and grey.

WOO HOO! That's awesome! Wobs is pure, and I know yours are too. I love bibbed duckies!

We're planning on selling out townhome within the next 2 years and buying one with a nice yard, so I can finally pursue my dream of becoming a breeder! But Wobbles and my future choco will always be house ducks. <3

Ahh that will be sooo cute. You have to think of a cute name like wobbles and bobbles or something like that. How bout wobbles and wiggles!!!!

We're actually considering "Pancake", because 1) it'll be golden brown, and 2) Who doesn't love Pancakes and Wobbles?

That is soooo adorable!!!! I had two silkie girls who were named salt (all white) and peeper (splash). They were inseperatable... sadly peeper died a few weeks ago......
