My new chocolate call duck

I should have used something else to show size... The milk jug was at a slant, it was downhill. I will try to take pics with rulers when I get a chance. It is just so hard to take a pic. and hold on to them and show size....

I know what you mean. Wobbles makes it all the more difficult because he attacks the camera! Please don't think I was questioning your birds' quality, they really are breathtakingly gorgeous (they aren't duck show champions for nothing!). Wobbles is just freakishly tiny even for a Call! I guess he didn't eat his wheaties...

Well these ducks are about the size of large pigeons. They won states in kentucky. But we will just have to wait and see what there babies turn out to be. Wobs does seem to be one of the best quality ducks I have ever seen. I think you should show him! Maybe he and his new wife should get into the show bis.

We initially wanted to show him, but as he got older we noticed he's really frightened in large, noisy settings. Poor guy shivers like a chihuahua! So we don't want to put him through the stress, even though he'd probably clean up as far as awards. If our little choco girl is more outgoing, we're definitely going to show her, and their potential bibbed babies!

Oh no worries. I know what you mean I am always REALLY freaked out before a show, you don't know what diseases they have there and what people do to the ducks when you aren't looking. I had a male with the biggest head I have ever seen but I was too nervous to show him because I wanted to keep him as a breeder.
