Well I just got my new chick. I was planning on getting 12 RIR for eggs and 2 turkeys for the table. What I ended up with is 17 RIR, 9 leghorns, 2 barred rock, 2 buff orpington, 2 ameraucanas, and three turkeys. On top of that my sons wants a couple rouen ducks that we cant get untill next month. I'm not sure exactly how this happened. I think they are just to cute to look at and walk away from. well here are some pics
did you get a white, and a bronze broadbreasted turkey??
we got those too!, a couple weeks with your turkeys and you won't WANT to eat them, we didn't get ours for eating, but still, Davis the bronze is SO loving, she comes up to you and pulls on your pant leg wanting attention
