Thanks for pointing out the weakness on my coop. I just hope that raccoons don't read this thread or I'll be in trouble.
I do realized that the run is not totally predator proof with welded wire of 2" x 3" opening, but the main coop is secured with an automatic coop door set on a timer. All the chickens sleep inside the coop at night and only have access to the run and backyard during the day. So I think the chickens are safe from raccoons and most night critters.
