Neat combination! My chicks are a month old tomorrow and they are so used to me building around them, they sit right next to me when I'm using the drill. Doesn't even phase them.

It looks great all painted up! What fun! Your set-up is very similar to what my DH is building. DH had planned to use the loft for storage, but the kids have enjoyed playing in the coop so much that we are seriously considering building them a playhouse somewhere else on our property.
