I used exterior paint on the outside and a interior/exterior enamel on the inside so it would be easy to clean. (still needs one more coat I think) I painted the next boxes with a grey interior paint for the wall and the enamel for the bottoms. Someone told me they like dark and separate for nesting/egg laying. Should I paint the roost board too? Didn't think of that until just now
