My new coop

hey GREAT job!!!!
And just so you know.....coming for the wife of a real builder......(carpenter) the weight, materials, time, and cost X4 is normal around here...so GOOD job and keeping it at X2!!!!

I asked for our second coop to be dog house sized....and at the moment it is reaching.....ahhhhh maybe 75 feet tall!!!!!!!


your chickens will love their new digs!!!

Thanks for the comments everyone. It was 20F when I went out at 6:15am this morning to open the hatch, and they all survived so... I think they will do ok with our weather (I hope), but no snow yet, it was on the other side of the mountain tho... mmm

I ended up taking the feeder down, as I dont need rain in the food supply

Guess I'll have to try and find some other way (partial roof on the run or just hang the feeder inside the coop which I didnt want to do...)
 
great job, you might use a blue tarp to cover the run and just fasten it down on the sides, will keep the feed dryer and the run area when it rains.
