I will be picking up a used chicken tractor that looks a lot like this and might need to do some renovating and would

Since you have already put up the chicken wire, you could go with a larger, stronger fencing (like 2"x4") and just put that over the chicken wire to make it stronger, instead of taking the chicken wire off and putting on hardware cloth. It might be a little cheaper too. Nice coop, by the way!

Great COOP! It's nice to have a coop that you can move around a bit to spread the wealth. Happy for ya! Watch out for coons getting through the chicken wire. I like the construction and the functionality of this small coop.

THE GIRLS ARE HERE!!!

We added some hardware cloth to the coop for additional safety...though we have the occasional opposum, racoon & cats in the neighborhood--the hawks are the ones that scare me the most. THANKS for all the suggestions & input!

....and Rudy is SO intrigued! Oh, I didn't introduce our 4 legged little boy did I? Rudy has decided he's going to be "watchdog"!!
