My new coop!

I have been warning my husband that I was going to build a coop this spring. It is a 6x6 raised coop. I have been using a friends small coop for my chicks but they now are way too big for it. Here is a pic of yesterday.

Then today I put down flooring, built frames, and cut the siding. The front needs a few more studs but I can't till I find/buy a window. My husband came home just in time to help put up a wall. The rest will have to wait until tomorrow and roofing for Sunday.

Looks good are you going to use the raised bed as your run I like the little pond.

Thanks, that's my hosta garden. The run will go the other way. I have around ten feet to the sound barrier so it will be about a 6' x 16' run including under the coop.

It's almost complete. I just have paint touch ups, the shingles, and run left. Oh and latches for the main door and nest boxes.
