This is the house I made for my 4 calls. It is 36"x48"x24". As you can see, it has plenty of room for growth in my duck family population.

I had to buy all the wood, but the whole thing cost only $56! ($11.31 was spent on paint.) There is no fence because they are freeranging. I still have to buy some hinges and hinge the lid/roof.

Oh, and I should add that the reason the roof is flat is because I am such a novice "carpenter" that I have no idea how to make a slanted roof and I didn't want to mess with angles.

The roof will be fine as long as have painted it with outdoor paint.
