My New Duck Pen (pics)

Well here is the new pen I built in my garage. I am not a carpenter, so it is not perfect by a long shot. I have a whole new respect for people that work with wood. My ducks will have a pen outside that connects to this, so they will spend most of the time outside and be in here during the night. They will spend more time in here during the winter months.

Wow, I'm really impressed. That is really nice, and so neat for ducks. Mine are still inside in a playpen, 4 wks old. Hopefully, next wk will be outside and I'm going to fix up the chicken house to share for them. Hope that works. I want your's!! Nice job. Sharon

That looks wonderful. It was one of my Easter projects to build another pen in my shed for some of my ducks too. This has really given me some inspiration- however Im sure mine wont look nearly so nice as that. Using as much recycled material I can bring home from work sure leaves my pens a bit rough looking. I will have to try the lino idea though- looks wonderful.
